David Green has over 20 years experience of operating at a senior level within the food industry and has sat on numerous retailer working groups (such as the Tesco Nominated Expert Scheme or Co-op Quality Pyramid Working Group). Please find attached a copy of our latest Chartered Scientist Registration Certificate in PDF format.

At David Green Food Consultancy Limited, we recognise that the costs of full-time interim support can be prohibitive for smaller firms and therefore where our diary permits we will always consider any such requests. However, a longer term contract in-place may limit our ability to undertake work of this nature but please call us to discuss.

Yes - happy to consider. Please give us a call for a frank, no-obligation discussion.

This will not be a problem. David Green has covered demanding and complex multi-site director-level roles the length and breadth of the country.

In February 2014, David Green received the rare honour of being nominated by Tesco to attend their 5 day residential "TFMS Auditors" course (alongside a number of Tesco colleagues). We are delighted to confirm that all modules were successfully passed and David Green was formally acknowledged as a "Nominated Food Expert" (technical specialists whose capabilities are endorsed by Tesco). This formal audit training coupled with over 20 years industry experience makes us the ideal choice for your assignment.

The short answer is No. We have wide ranging experience gained from periods in operational management through to heading up multi-site technical teams for the UK's largest manufacturers. We have experience in setting technical budgets, capacity planning and process improvements, raw material specifications, finished product specifications, quality panelling, factory new builds and redevelopments, capital projects, funding initiatives, animal welfare schemes, environmental and sustainability management and much more. Please give us a call to discuss your specific requirements.

Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, we only consider interim / short-term assignments.

Since launching the business we have been fortunate to experience unprecedented levels of demand. That said, we would love to hear from you as we may have some last minute openings (i.e. evenings, weekends) or even be able to provide phone or remote support (via email or Skype). As a further support option, we could also link you up with our personally selected and recommended technical partners.

This will be agreed at the outset of each contract (as part of the standard terms and conditions), but normally would be "within 28 days of date of invoice". Payment would be required via electronic bank transfer direct into our Company Business Banking Account. Exceptions to this must be agreed in advance.

From a pure cost perspective, it will be considerably cheaper to deal with our company direct as you will not be incurring the daily commission charged by a recruitment agency (which can be up to 20% of the daily rate). We are fully set up to deal with direct enquiries and contracts - handling our own invoicing, VAT, insurances, payroll etc. If you are able to deal direct with us, then it would be the preferred and most cost effective route for all parties. That said, recruitment agencies fulfil a vital role and in some situations it may be better to go the third party route for convenience (e.g. if speed is of the essence and the recruitment agency is already established within your company's accounts or preferred supplier systems). The choice ultimately is up to you, but please contact us if you have any questions we can help with.
